Submission: Inquiry into Climate Adaptation
Sharing our preliminary findings on climate adaptation progress with Parliament's Finance and Expenditure Committee (14 June 2024)
On 14 June 2024, we wrote to Parliament's Finance and Expenditure select committee to make a submission on its Inquiry into climate adaptation. This inquiry aims to develop a climate adaptation framework for Aotearoa New Zealand.
We shared key preliminary findings from our progress report on the Government’s National Adaptation Plan. Our full report was later released in August 2024.
We spoke to the select committee in July before the release of our full report, and then again in August after its release. Copies of our written submissions and video recordings of the committee hearings are available below.
